Are you flirting with the idea of renting a private cabin amidst the Great Smoky Mountains in the sedate (yet exhilarating) East Tennessee? If yes, you are probably wondering how much it really costs to rent a cabin there.
While there is no “one-size-fits-all” pricing model, in this blog, we will take a look at some of the most common factors that can greatly affect the overall cost for cabin rentals.
Size of the cabin
One of the most obvious factors that can determine the cost of cabin rentals is the size of the cabin. Needless to say, the bigger the cabin and the more rooms it has, the more it will set you back. After all, nobody wants to feel like they are living in a small box when they book accommodations for their camping break.
At Ligia’s Fork Cabins, all of our cabins (Elijah’s cabin, EW River cabin and Cumberland cabin) are big and spacious enough for you to make you feel like you have a slice of the wilderness to yourself.
How Many People are staying with you?
This goes hand in hand with our last point. In most cases, the more people that are staying in the cabin – the more expensive it will be to rent. A cabin that can hold up to six people will cost more than a cabin that can only fit two. What if you are a group of three friends renting a cabin that can only accommodate two? Well, in that case, you may have to pay an additional fee per person, which can range from anywhere between $10 and $50.
All of our cabins can comfortably accommodate six people – so whether you are travelling with a group of friends or with family, you will not have to pay more than the listed price!
How Luxurious is the Cabin?
The “luxuriousness” of a cabin is yet another factor that can influence the price of renting it. It goes without saying that a well-designed cabin with an elegant rustic vibe will command a price that is more than that of a poorly built cabin with basic furniture and an odd stench.
All of our cabins come with pretty much anything you could need to make your stay more homely and comfortable – including a full-size fridge, cook stove, microwave, coffee maker, linens and towels, covered porch and picnic area, fire pit, charcoal grill, air conditioning, central heating, driveway parking, and much more! When you rent Elijah’s cabin, you also get a cable flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi!
Location, Location, Location
Last but not least, the location of the cabin can directly affect its price. A cabin nestled in the wilderness or at close quarters to a tourist hotspot is undoubtedly going to be a lot more expensive than the one on the outskirts of the city… far from all the action!
Our cabins are situated in the secluded Briceville, surrounded by dense woods and near fabulous hiking and ATV trails such as Brimstone Recreation and WindRock Park! Can it get any better than this?
